Rokt Pay+

Rokt Pay+ is a payments page placement that surfaces personalized offers, incentives, and payment options while a customer is entering their payment details. It adds a dynamic content layer to a step that usually has no personalized content, and the Rokt Brain decides what each customer sees in real time.

Why the payments page mattersDirect link to Why the payments page matters

The payments page is a high-intent step in the Transaction Moment™. The customer is entering their payment details and is fully committed to the purchase, so attention and intent are both high. It is also typically the most transactional and least personalized step in checkout, which leaves room to add relevance without getting in the way of completing the purchase. Rokt Pay+ is designed to complement the payment step, not compete with it, so what is shown supports the decision the customer is already making rather than distracting from it.

Rokt Pay+ uses the same signal model as the rest of the Rokt Ecommerce suite. The Rokt Brain analyzes the transaction context at the payment step, together with any first-party signals you choose to provide, and selects what each customer sees in the moment.

Selection is per-customer and probabilistic rather than rule-based. The Rokt Brain optimizes for relevance to the individual customer, which aligns the interests of customers, partners, and advertisers, because the most relevant content is also the content most likely to convert and earn revenue. Additionally, the Rokt Brain may choose to show no offer at all.

Three types of content can appear on your payments page:

  • Advertiser offers. Relevant third-party content selected by the Rokt Brain. When a customer engages with an offer, you earn partner revenue.
  • First-party offers. Offers and campaigns sponsored by your brand rather than advertisers in the Rokt Network. Examples include a partner-branded co-brand card offered with an issuer, a merchant-specific private-label credit card (PLCC), loyalty enrollment, or an incentive to use a preferred payment method.
  • Payment incentives. Rewards and offers that complement the customer's payment method choices.

All are framed around the payment decision the customer is actively making, which is what distinguishes Rokt Pay+ content from the offers a customer sees post-purchase on the confirmation page.

Controlling what appears on your payments pageDirect link to Controlling what appears on your payments page

Rokt Pay+ uses the same control model as Rokt Thanks, so you decide what is eligible to appear:

  • Brand allowlists and blocklists to permit or exclude specific advertisers.
  • Category restrictions to keep out sensitive or competitive categories.
  • Creative approval to review content before it goes live.

You can also restrict a placement to specific content types—for example, showing only first-party offers, only payment incentives, or only advertiser offers. Combined with advertiser and category restrictions, this lets you decide both where offers come from and which third-party content is eligible.

Why Rokt Pay+Direct link to Why Rokt Pay+

  • Revenue from an underused step. The payments page usually carries no personalized content. Rokt Pay+ turns it into a relevant, revenue-generating moment without adding friction to checkout.
  • Relevance at peak intent. Content is selected per customer at the point of highest commitment, so it complements the purchase the customer is completing rather than distracting from it.
  • A better payment experience. Relevant offers and payment incentives support the payment decision the customer is actively making, keeping the step useful rather than cluttered.
