Third-Party Measurement Providers

Third-party measurement providers, such as mobile measurement partners (MMPs) and performance marketing platforms, are tools advertisers use to track, attribute, and report on conversions across marketing channels.

Integrating your measurement provider with Rokt Ads closes the loop between Rokt's ad placements and downstream conversions (such as purchases, subscriptions, and app installs). These integrations feed conversion data into the Rokt Brain, enabling optimized targeting and bidding for better campaign performance — without requiring additional instrumentation beyond what you've already built with your measurement provider.

These integrations work via the Rokt Click ID:

  1. Campaign links generated by your measurement provider include a parameter for a click ID.
  2. When a user clicks a Rokt ad, Rokt populates that parameter with the Rokt Tracking ID.
  3. When the user converts, the measurement provider sends a postback to Rokt containing the click ID so Rokt can attribute the conversion.
note

The click ID steps are only required if an email address is not available at the point of conversion. If email is available, it can be passed directly to Rokt without the click ID.

Some measurement providers have preconfigured integrations with Rokt that simplify setup. If a preconfigured integration is not available, reach out to your Rokt account manager.
