What are the shipping terms I can choose on Catalog?
You and your Brands need to agree on how to handle shipping costs for their products through the proposals workflow. You customize your shipping agreement depending on what you want to charge your customers and what you want to pay your Brands. Below is an in-depth walkthrough of the four different shipping terms Catalog offers.
Brand's dynamic rateBrand's dynamic rate への直接リンク
The Brand's dynamic rate option allows you to charge your customer the exact same shipping that the Brand offers on their site. You then pay the Brand that same amount, passing the money you collected from your customers through to the Brand to cover their shipping charges. We recommend using this option whenever possible.
Brand's dynamic rate is available for Partners using Shopify Plus or higher. If you are using Shopify Basic, you need to upgrade your account to include carrier shipping or switch to Shopify yearly billing to gain access. Once you upgrade, contact us to get access.
Flat rateFlat rate への直接リンク
You can set flat rates for what you want to charge your customer and pay your Brand. If you want your customer to pay shipping costs that are passed on to the Brand, select the same amount on both sides.
For example, if you want to offer free or lower-cost shipping to your customers but have agreed to contribute $2 per order toward the Brand's shipping costs, you would set the customer charge to $0 and the Brand payment to $2.
Flat + dynamic rateFlat + dynamic rate への直接リンク
If you want to charge your customer a custom flat rate (for example, $5.99 per order) and pay the Brand the dynamic rate they offer on their site, select custom flat rate for the customer and the Brand's dynamic rate for the Brand.
You may want to use this option to maintain a certain customer experience on your site while still agreeing to pay the Brand based on the rates they maintain on their site.
The inverse of this (dynamic + flat rate) is not possible. You cannot select charging the customer the Brand's dynamic rate and paying the Brand a custom flat rate. To charge customers a dynamic rate, you must also pay the Brand the dynamic rate.

If you want to offer free shipping to your customer and not pay the Brand for shipping, select custom flat rate on both sides and enter $0 as the amount.
