Catalog setup
A catalog is a list of the items you sell on your website, and their details, that you want to advertise with Rokt. You can organize products into a product set, which is what you use to create and run Catalog Ads.
Catalog Ads serve in the transaction moment: the seconds after a customer completes a purchase on one of Rokt's partner sites. Rokt Brain selects which creative and products show to each customer.
You manage your catalogs and product sets in Rokt's Catalog Manager.

A high-quality catalog helps customers reach a purchase decision. It increases the chance that the right product reaches the right customer with the right information.
Maintain an accurate and complete catalogLien direct vers Maintain an accurate and complete catalog
- Send one catalog containing all of your products. Narrow what serves using product sets rather than trimming the feed. A smaller feed limits what Rokt can match.
- Start with your key categories and top products. Test there, then expand. Most enterprise retailers start with 5,000 to 10,000 products and grow from there.
- Keep your catalog up to date. Update it when items go on sale or change, so customers do not see out-of-stock items or incorrect prices.
- Provide accurate product details. Product titles appear in your ads. Make sure they are easy to understand and free of misspellings and internal codes.
- Check for issues after each update. Each time a data source uploads your feed, Rokt flags products with errors and warnings and shows how to fix them. A product with an unresolved error cannot serve. See Troubleshoot catalogs.
Use high-quality imageryLien direct vers Use high-quality imagery
- Upload images of at least 500×500 pixels. Square images on a white background work best.
- Use JPG or PNG files reachable over HTTPS, no larger than 25 MB.

Product sets make building campaigns easier and are how you control what runs where. Common sets are built around a category, a promotion, or a price range. You can list the products yourself or define a rule that keeps the set current as your feed changes. See Manage catalogs.
