What information is shared with Catalog?

By installing the Catalog app you are prompted to accept both Privacy and Permission information. Below is everything Catalog will have access to if you continue with installation.

Privacy Details

• Customer contact information: name, email address, and phone number
• Customer location: physical address, geolocation, IP address
• Customer device information: browser and operating system
• Store owner contact information: name, email address, and phone number
• Store owner location: physical address
• Order information: Value of order*

Catalog acquires sales data from the moment it's installed in the pursuit of completing its service obligations (fulfilling the order).

*The value of the orders is pulled for both Catalog related orders and non-Catalog orders. We use this data for our Insights product, which shows you how Catalog improves your sales & average order value.

Permission Details

• Edit orders: this includes all orders for the past 60 days, shipping information, and order fulfillments
• Edit products: this includes product listings, products, inventory, and collections
• Edit your online store: this includes checkout page
