To succeed on the Rokt network, we recommend advertisers set up Rokt the way they would any other performance channel—by ensuring measurement, suppression, and closed-loop conversion signals are in place.

New advertisers are strongly recommended to close the loop (CTL) when onboarding onto Rokt, with a high quality integration. This can include:

  • Integrate suppression data and seed data
  • Close the loop with a persistent identifier, such as Email, Rokt Click ID, without filtering
  • Share data with full funnel coverage from selection to conversions
  • Share events via multiple connections, such as wSDK and Event API, with high frequency to ensure freshness

Establishing this close the loop (CTL) connection, is paramount to measuring and optimizing the success for any marketing campaign. You can do this via one of the following approaches:

Option 1: Full integration

Connect via CDP (like Rokt mParticle), platform integrations (like Shopify), payment processor, or data warehouse; or close the loop for 14 days prior to launch using a persistent customer identifier via Event API / Web SDK.

Option 2: Custom integration

Close the loop with Event API / Web SDK and import seed and suppression lists via custom audience import (API, sFTP, One Platform, etc.) or supported third-party audience integrations (e.g., LiveRamp, mParticle).
