Campaign Editing

On occasion, you’ll need to edit an existing campaign. Some of the most common scenarios for editing a campaign are:

  • Daily/weekly/monthly referral caps need to be adjusted.
  • The campaign’s budget has been exhausted, and you’ve executed a new Marketing Order and need to create a new budget associated with that Marketing Order.
  • The campaign has an end date, but you want to extend the campaign to a later date.
  • There’s been a material change to your campaign’s privacy policy, disclaimers, or terms and conditions.
  • Note: a campaign’s overall objectives are typically not editable. If you need to change a campaign’s objectives, you will need to create a new campaign and pause the existing campaign.

Editing a campaign is straightforward.

  1. On the Campaign Overview page, find the campaign you need to edit and click on the pencil icon in the "Actions" column on the very right-hand side.

    Campaign Editing

  2. The Campaign Wizard will appear, prepopulated with all the campaign’s existing settings. Click on any item in the left nav to jump directly to the area of the campaign you need to edit. You can skip over parts of the campaign that don’t require editing.

    Campaign Editing

  3. If you’d like to discard all the edits you’ve made to the campaign, just click on the “Exit” button in the top right hand corner of the Campaign Wizard. Any and all changes you’ve made to the campaign will be discarded.

    Campaign Editing

  4. After you’ve made all the necessary edits to the campaign, proceed to the last tab in the Campaign Wizard (“Budget & Schedule”) and click the “Save” button. The campaign and its new edits should then be placed in the queue for manual approval.
