The bid price for your campaign can have a significant impact on performance. You may need to increase your bid to generate more referrals and grow Share of Voice (SoV) for an audience. You may need to decrease the bid to ensure you're not spending more than you want to acquire a new customer.
There are two ways to change your bid:
- Directly from the Campaign Details page: This is useful when you only need to change your max bid.
- From within the audience wizard: This is useful when you need to change the bid price and other settings.
For both ways of changing the bid, go to the Campaign Overview page. Click on the campaign card to drill down into the relevant campaign and edit the bid for an existing audience.
Changing Price on the Campaign Details Page
On the Campaign Details page, click on the pencil icon next to the Max bid of the audience for which you would like to change bid price.
Enter your new bid price and click "Update" to save the new bid price.
Changing Price within the Audience Wizard
On the Campaign Details page, click on the pencil icon in the "Actions" column for the audience for which you want to change bid price.
The audience wizard will appear, and you will be able to edit the audience targeting. The audience wizard experience is identical to Audience Creation, except the wizard will be pre-populated with the audience’s current targeting.
Go to the "Bid" step either from the left menu or with clicking on the "Next" buttons and change your bid.
Click “Save” to save the edits to audience.
