Audience Pause/Resuming

This article outlines how to pause and resume an audience.

Pausing an Active Audience

  1. To pause an active audience, first select the campaign that the audience belongs to by clicking on the campaign card in the Campaign Overview page.

    Audience Pause/Resuming

  2. On the Campaign Details page, all active audience audiences will have a green status indicator to the left of the audience name. To pause an active audience, press the pause button in the far right column of the audience table. The pause button will change to a “Play” or activate button, and the status indicator to the left of the audience name will change color as well.

Resume a Paused Audience

A paused audience can only be resumed if the following conditions are met:

  • The campaign that the audience belongs to must be active;
  • The audience must have creatives linked to it; and
  • A least one linked creative needs to be active.

If any one of these conditions is not met, you cannot reactivate a paused audience.

To activate a paused audience:

  1. Select the campaign that the audience belongs to by clicking on the campaign card on the Campaign Overview page.

    Audience Pause/Resuming

  2. On the Campaign Details page, find the audience that you wish to reactivate. If the audience can be activated, there will be a “Play” or activate button in the far right column of the table. Click the activate button. The status bar to the left of the audience name will change to green, and the “Play” button will change to a “Pause” button.
